The leadership of Uvuru Communities Development Union (UCDU), Aboh Mbaise LGA, has commissioned an ultra-modern motor park. The park, which is located at Orie Uvuru market, is expected to provide affordable and comfortable road transportation services to the people, especially travellers desirous of excitingly memorable road travel experience.
Performing the formal commissioning of the park at Orie Uvuru on December 24 2025, the President General of Uvuru Communities Development Union, Engr. Ben Chimaroke Nnaji said the crave for a motor park in Uvuru community is to facilitate movement of people, goods, and services from Uvuru community direct to other parts of the country. He added that the initiative will boost revenue generation and enable Uvuru community to compete favourably with other communities and cities across the country.
According to him ” The essential components of the ultra-modern park include designated departure lines, public convenience, loading bay, shopping mall, travellers’ terminal, ticketing point, waste disposal unit, car wash area and other facilities “.
He further added that the project will employ many youths of Uvuru community.
The Chairman of the occasion, Amb. Innocent Iwejuo described the project as the first of its kind in Uvuru community and commended Uvuru Communities Development Union for the initiative. He expressed optimism that the park will become a hub for commercial activities, which will benefit entrepreneurs, service providers, and others .
Highpoint of the event was the formal commissioning of the park and display of operational vehicles for takeoff.
