NBC bans Broadcasting of EEdris Abdukareem’s New Song,’Tell Your Papa’

The National Broadcasting Commission has banned the Broadcasting of Eedris Abdukareem’s new song “Tell Your Papa” in all broadcast stations in Nigeria.

In a statement signed by Susan Obi, NBC, coordinating director for broadcast monitoring, which was made available to Boldmedia, the commission directed all broadcast stations in Nigeria to exercise discretion and refrain from airing the song.

“Tell Your Papa ” is a recent hipop song released by Nigerian popular hipop artiste Eedris Abdukareem, where he called on President Tinubu’s son, Seyi to draw the attention of his father, the President on the untold suffering Nigerians are passing through under the present administration.

The hit track has continued to trend and get dominance in the Nigerian social media space since after it was released.

It can be recalled that this will be the second time Eedris Abdukareem’s song is banned in Nigeria, as his earlier song “Nigeria Jaga-jaga” was also banned during the administration of President Olusegun Obasanjo
